If you saw my post for Kung Fu Panda, you know that I saw a few movies during lockdown here in France. Mainly movies that I’ve always wanted to see. I suppose that, like me, almost everyone has a list of movies that they want to see. Mine has a lot of classics on them.
So, after seeing Kung Fu Panda, I went on to watch Kung Fu Panda 2. And here’s the review for it.
Synopsis
Po’s dream became a reality; he became the famous Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace with his five friends: Tiger, Crane, Mantis, Viper, and Monkey. But his life is threatened by a new enemy, who is decided on conquering China and destroying kung-fu with the help of a secret and indestructible weapon.
How can Po win against such a weapon more potent than Kung Fu? He will have to look for an answer within his past and discover the truth of his mysterious origins. Only then will Po be able to unleash his secret weapon.
Or, if you want to, you can just watch the trailer right here.
Review
So, as I said before, I watched Kung Fu Panda 2 right after the first one. (And by the way, I still haven’t seen the third). And watching those two back to back was great.
As with the first one, I actually don’t have that much comment on it. Other than it was really entertaining, not as groundbreaking for me as the first one. But still great.
I especially liked the relationship between Po and the other kung fu masters in this one. He really became a kung fu master on his own rights. And you can really feel that the whole team respect him and understand him much better than before.
Should you watch it?
If you enjoyed watching the first Kung Fu Panda, I recommend that you watch this one too. The team really grew into a family, which makes it even more fun to watch!
